Having your lens restored is important because a cloudy scratched headlight lens covers are a safety hazard. Not only is it a safety hazard but it blemishes your vehicle and in many cases, can contribute to your MOT test failing. A cloudy, scratched headlight lens can be damaged because the plastic is overexposed to UV light. Intense sun climates can damage the lens even within the first couple of years of purchasing a new car.
